I came to your blog through a comment you left Duane. I just recently picked up the paleo-diet for athletes due to somethings I learned about acid/alkaline relationship in our body (and how what we thought was helping my dads fight with cancer probably wasn't helping, maybe hurting). Just wondering if you really did adopt this style of eating and if you have any words of wisdom for starting.
Hi RenaeFor about a year I followed a very alkaline diet and felt absolutely fantastic. I've gotten a bit away from it, although am going to go back to it during my taper for the next three weeks.A couple of years ago when I started eating that way, I lost 17 lbs in three weeks, even though I wasn't trying to lose any weight.Once we start stop poising ourselves with processed and acidic foods and start giving our bodies what we need to thrive, our bodies know what to do and start to heal INSTANTLY!!Many people's cancer and other diseases dissapeared very quickly, baffling their doctors, by going to an alkaline diet.
